TET

TET was born on /s4s on Jan 1, 2015. OP dropped a busted little face and typed one word: "tet". That's it. No punchline, no meaning, no context. And the thread did what it always does: turned nothing into a virus.

People just kept posting "tet". Then it mutated. "tot tet". "tet approved & confirmed for trips". "toptet". "four tet" when the face got cloned into a square like a low-effort cult logo. Someone even goes "le tet offensive" and suddenly there's a Tet Offensive map in the same thread, because once a meme is empty enough, you can staple any reference onto it and it still sticks.

Also, "tet" is literally a bird in that thread. Because of course it is. And you get the classic guy yelling "I SAW THIS MEME IN 2014" because every "NEW MEME OFFICIAL" needs one liar to bless it.
